Reviews
"Very beautiful waterfall. Super easy hike as well. During the summer, this is a popular filming and photo spot as you will see tons of cameras set up capturing the fall. Must visit whenever in bryson city."
"Lovely falls, extremely wide and shaded trail, and tubing available in addition to reading or luxuriating in the falls. I enjoyed it immensely, would go again and, this time, take the trail to the other two falls in the area as well."
"We went not only for the falls but, also went tubbing down the river, kids loved it (cost 8$ a tub) had them for the full day! I would suggest not taking little ones all wayyy to the top to go tubbing I have 5 kids ages 7-16 older boys did great, had blast but 7yr and 9yr old had few struggles with white water thank goodness we had short bungee cords to help keep the kids from going under and connected to us. There is a nice waterfall while going down the river that's really pretty! Didn't take my phone so, don't have too many pictures next time I'm going to bring a water proof case so, can take more pictures!"
"Tom Branch Falls are a great destination choice for families and those wanting a nice time in the water. The falls are accessed by a mostly flat dirt trail. Wheelchairs with more rugged tires can probably make it out here. There are half a dozen benches nearby to enjoy the area. The water here is shallow so you can wade in it, tube, or get to the falls from the trail through the water."
"Bathrooms were still closed the first week of April. Parking lot was a little tight, but that is to be expected. The road getting there has a lot to see along the way. Good wading opportunity for fishermen. This trail was the perfect amount of short with just the right amount of elevation to make it interesting. When they constructed the trail they used viaducts to channel the water to keep the trail looking nice. You can tell a lot of planning went into it. The waterfall at the top is a fantastic photo op! There's a beautiful wooden bridge where you could sit for a long time and just stare out at the beauty that God placed in the Appalachians!"
