"This is a true hidden gem. We are lucky to happen to stop by since our other plan fell apart. Lisa and her husband, are kind and warm and provided us a warm welcome, and a clean room at a surprisingly low price even at the very last minute. We had a pleasant stay, and beautiful views and a dinner at the nice pavilion overlooking the rail road ( which we took the next day ). Our son loved the rocking chairs outside. Hope you guys thrive in the business !"

"The place was built in the 1950’s. It has been family owned and operated since the beginning. The current family are the second owners. Comparing it to a Hilton Garden inn or a Hampton inn wouldn’t be fair or reasonable. Definitely not new and shiny. However, it was very clean and well maintained. It reminded me of places that I used to stay at when I was a kid on my family vacations. It was a refreshing and much needed dose of the way things used to be. There aren’t many places like these left. There is a distinct unapologetic aura of an antique that brings you back to a simpler time, the good old days. It was a good feeling to patronize a place that has been locally owned and operated for approximately 70 years by hard working old school Americans. I would definitely stay there again."
