"i ordered uber eats delivery, i got jerk wings and oxtail with white rice and sweet plantains and a “large” lemonade with fresh ginger .. the lemonade was good, jerk wings were great, the oxtails however did not taste like oxtails.. it kind of tasted like mac and cheese like i don’t know what happened with the oxtails.. other than the taste of the oxtails being off they were still fall off the bone, i didn’t eat the meat, i took the meat off the bone and gave it to my dog she liked it of course but good thing i ordered jerk wings so i had a back up"
"As I walked into the restaurant I was immediately welcomed by the warm and cozy environment. I loved the rustic feel of the restaurant. I was immediately greeted by the owner who introduced himself as Mo. He promptly came and took my order as well as made a special batch of lemonade as their original drinks have ginger which I'm not a huge fan of. They allowed me to sample the drink and when I didn't like it 100%, Mo graciously accommodated me by making a fresh batch without the ginger. As I ordered my entree, I was surprised to learn that their festival was made to order and that they still had plantains (those of you who have gone to Jamaican restaurants know that these are the first items that you are told that they've ran out). My food was then prepared by co-owner Natalee. Presentation and proportions were perfect. Even had enough to take home with me. Both Natalee and Mo frequently checked in on me to make sure things were good. What made my experience even better was the fact that they saw me dining with my 4 month old who was a bit fussy, both Natalee and Mo took turns entertaining him while I continued to enjoy my meal. And enjoy my meal I did! I had curry chicken, rice and peas with festival. Absolutely delicious!"
"Enjoyed lunch here. Nice ambiance, good service from Mo, fresh food made- to-order, well seasoned. I had the escovitch red snapper and my friend had the pepper steak. The fish was nice and crispy on the outside and moist on the inside... perfect! Love that we had the option of quinoa instead of rice."
