"Good Chinese food. The 咸豆浆 (salty soybean milk) is the best, especially with some 油条(fried cruellers?) on the side. The noodle soup were pretty good too. Really enjoyed the broth and meat in the spicy beef noodle soup. The chive chicken noodle soup was also pretty good but would have appreciated more soup. The service was great! All the ladies always refilled our teapots and striked up conversation with us! Definitely an amazing local place to stop by!"
"We were big fan of 南北和 in Flushing and were so bummed when they closed years ago. Ltttle did we know they have moved to Bayside! Hubby loves their pot sticker 開口鍋貼and had been in search for good ones for years! THANK GOD for Tik Tok, he saw a post last night and we went this morning for breakfast. As ‘usual’ I got my favorite salty tofu pudding while hubby opted for the cold soy drink. The scallion pancake rolled with beef was so good, also like the tasty radish sou bing. And the pot sticker still as good as we remembered. Needless to say, we will be frequent this joint once again!"
"Really yummy food. Got the salty rice roll, turnip sou Bing (has dried shrimp or some type of umami!), braised pork with rice and sweet soy milk. Also got veggies dumplings, not pictured. Handmade dough, filling was eggs, vermicelli and greens. So happy there weren't garlic chives! Convenient if you drive. The staff doesn't speak a lot of English but through pointing and gesturing, I still ordered lots of delicious food. The table next to me got stinky Tofu, a whole braised fish and lions head meatball that looked great too!"
"If you want to try authentic Chinese food this place is a good start. The food was tasty especially the beef with onion also the shrimp walnut. It’s a classic Chinese dish with very generous portions size. The fish was good but a little over cooked, the sauce is amazing on the fish. The shrimp walnut was very delicious and the size of the shrimps were huge. Definitely coming back for more! Overall, very unique place where the tables are made out of pennies and very filling. It’s also not that expensive we were stuffed with a bunch of leftovers."
"Best Taiwanese restaurant in the area. My favorites are oyster pancake and steamed meat buns. Stinky tofu is a popular choice but it is an acquired taste. One unisex restroom. Street parking only."
