"My wife has brought Mad for Chicken home from Bayside a few times. I have never been to the restaurant so this review is based off the food only. Even being reheated due to the long drive, it’s really good. The fries are crispy and delicious. The fried dumplings have a lot of flavor. The chicken wings are very crispy on the outside, but juicy on the inside. Always a treat when I know my wife is bringing Mad for Chicken home."

"Mad For Chicken in Bayside definitely have that amazing tavern vibe. Known for their amazing Korean fried chicken, they also now have seafood boil for more variety of eats. Friendly staffs are running around helping everyone attentively. That up hip atmosphere which also feels cozy is amazing. Even their restrooms have that tavern feel. They also have all sorts of drinks including draft beers. Food is great and drinks are amazing with a bunch of your friends is a great way to start the holiday celebration early here at Mad For Chicken. "For a party of 7 we were seated quickly. As you are seated you are welcomed with seasoned popcorn, which was addicting. For appetizer we ordered Bulgogi Toppoki Japchae and Fried Dumplings. It tasted average and was nothing special. I had the Bulgogi bowl and fried chicken for my main dish. The Bulgogi bowl was good but I wish it had more beef. The fried chicken was juicy, tender, and flavorful. I had the chance to taste the Kimchi chicken sandwich, which was easily the best dish they had. It was filled with flavor and leaves you wanting for more. And you can’t go wrong with a Mango Mojito. I'd give it a 7.2/10."

"Now I finally understand the Korean fried chicken hype! The experience was fantastic from start to finish. We were served with popcorn and water upon being seated, which kept us entertained while waiting for our order. The chicken itself was amazing! The breading was incredibly crispy. We ordered the half and half soy garlic and spicy soy flavors, as well as the golden honey. Each bite was a delight. I recommend enjoying the chicken as soon as it's served for the best experience. The service was excellent. The staff was attentive, checking on us frequently and asking if everything was to our satisfaction. They were also accommodating as we had a stroller with us. While their attentiveness was great, it became slightly overwhelming with them checking on us so frequently. Striking a balance between attentive service and giving guests some space would enhance the overall dining experience even more. Overall, I had an amazing experience."
