"Warm and welcoming I must give to this place. The waitress Rose was so friendly and very approachable. Their lamb black pudding was out of this world."
"I called in my order and went to pick it up 20 minutes later. When I got there they told me I never called and they’re closed while waiting for people to pick up orders?!? It was 8:30pm and they close at 9:30pm. Why did you take my order if you wanted to close early? I even showed them my call log and the man said the cashier just left. At this point please close your restaurant permanently, this isn’t the first time this has happened. Incompetent isn’t even the word."
"I would probably give this 4 stars if the quality of food was more consistent. I normally will either get the chicken fried rice or the chicken lo mein. I will steer more towards getting the fried rice simply because the lo mein is either really great or it is dry and tasteless. The fried rice is a safer bet and my favorite part is the bora which adds a nice crunchiness. The chicken is also great - sometimes it does hover on being a little too dry, but the marinade on there is great. I do like that I can get my breads, pastries, etc all in one place. Cassava pone is awesome here - it is moist!"
"If I could give this place zero stars, I would. My fiancé and I stopped in and ordered curry snapper with roti and curry lamb with roti. First, when the attendant handed me the bag with the takeout, I could smell the fish right away, and not in a good way…have they never heard of lime/lemon and vinegar?!! And when we got home and saw how the snapper looked….Nasty!!!!!! I’ve posted a pic. Even after all that, he still decided to taste it, no seasoning. The lamb was tough- just edible and the roti tasted stale. I have never bought food before where absolutely everything was garbage. I will stick to Trinciti or Singh’s in the future. Lesson well learnt!"
"Kaieteur Restaurant is one of those places you can go for cheap tasty eats. I didn't take a picture of my food because I was starving! Anyways I did get the lunch special and the jerk pork was ok. They have a wide variety of foods including pastries, bread, fried rice, lol mein and an assortment of drinks. You don't have to wait long for food too. Definitely stop by and grab some lunch, it's a lot for one person, enjoy!"
