Reviews of Revolucion
"This is the most disgusting customer service I’ve ever received at the takeout place. It’s disturbing how the staff behind the counter behave. Management, either monitor your employees or get new ones. It’s evident they don’t want to work. They tried to give me sour cream as a salsa. They don’t even know what kind of food they serve."
"20 minutes for a take our burger? One orde before me. employees just hanging out and enjoying themselves"
"Arrived around lunch time. Ordered two drinks off the menu and loaded nachos. There was only one other couple in the facility at the time. It took 20 minutes for our drinks to arrive, 25-30 minutes for our order. I’d added steak and guacamole to the nachos for an additional fee. The nachos arrived with about a tablespoon of guacamole. After asking for more and making the point that it had been a paid add-on, it arrived in a tiny container. The staff took every opportunity to make it seem that they had been put out by the request, despite the restaurant and bar being practically empty and despite having already tipped 20% because you have to purchase through an app and apply a tip before you’re even served. One of the cocktails was fine. The other, an old fashioned, was actually a whiskey soda. When I spoke to the bartender about it, I was told that’s the way it’s supposed to be served (It’s not- I’ve worked in F&B for over 15 years. There’s no soda in an Old Fashioned. It wasn’t just a bad old fashioned- a simple drink to make - it was a completely different drink). The nachos were missing the sour cream and beans that were supposed to come with it. They were swimming in liquid cheese and sprinkled with some un-melted shredded cheese. Given the responsiveness and attitude of the staff to that point, it didn’t seem worth trying to address. One of the all-time worst dining experiences I’ve ever had, including 25 years of extensive business travel."
"I am writing this on Monday October 30th. We entered the establishment about 10:15am with the breakfast menu showing. The waitress had to check if the cooks could still serve breakfast as they would be serving lunch soon. Red Flag. She said yes they could serve breakfast. The QR code directed us to the breakfast menu and we ordered and paid on the website before we received our food. Red Flag and very unconventional. When we received the food our breakfast potatoes turned into tater tots(reminded me of 6th grade cafeteria food) I asked why the switch and the excuse was they were transitioning to lunch. I asked where the bacon and cheese were in my Eastern Omelette. My wife was missing vegetables in her egg white omelette(they said she could substitute regular eggs but they didn’t). Both plates were brought back to the kitchen with an attitude from the waitress. We received our omelettes(my wife’s was still egg white) see picture of my breakfast after bacon and cheese were added. We felt like we were in an atmosphere where we were not the priority but the waitresses were gabbing away and also using foul language. I would appreciate a message from the owner of Revolucion and a way to contact him privately to expand on our experience. Otherwise the attitude and service of their employees will doom the restaurant as customers will walk in and right back out as we observed. There was also at least a 1/2 hour window when the employees said they were between breakfast and lunch and the customers could sit at the bar. They took option two and walked right out."
