Loft

"Recently took a flight out of JFK on JetBlue and came across Loft accidently. Overall think these reviews are somewhat harsh. Had the Mediterranean wrap and thought it was reasonable in both taste and cost. Service was okay. You order on your phone by scanning your QR code. Took about 15 minutes to get my food. I believe the tab closes automatically after an hour. Atmosphere was nice. Was not super crowded despite being peak travel time two days before christmas . Overall, would say this place is adequate, especially if you want to get out of the hustle and bustle of JFK and the terminal. Won't be the best food you ever had but wasn't outright terrible like some of the reviews suggest."

"Worst poached eggs I've ever been served. Plus they didn't bring out the pickled ramps that were advertised as part of this dish until after I was done eating. Horrible experience."

"Ordered a medium well burger with a lettuce wrap and a soda on my phone. I had to ask the staff for my Diet Pepsi after waiting 10 minutes and watching them stand around. My burger comes and the patty is barely warm and raw. The woman who brought me my burger was the nicest one there. It’s upsetting that I did not feel comfortable sending it back due to the negative feeling I got from majority of the staff so I tried to eat some of it with the blood juice all on my plate and fries. I thought maybe I was overreacting but it tasted raw as well. Then the staff member came by so I let him know it was raw, and he responded saying that I already ate it, most likely insinuating that they would not recook it or refund. He even asked if I needed a Togo box… why would I want to take a raw cold burger on my flight? I’ve never experienced this before and it’s very upsetting. I hope I do not get food poisoning while on my flight."

"Normally, we'd see these previous reviews and steer clear. But with over 3 hours to kill, we didn't even check the reviews. There was no wait. We were there on a Saturday night at 7:30pm. You scan an iPad and are able to order your food from your phone. I saw a review that said they require you to share your information via account sign up but that was clearly OPTIONAL. You do not have to swipe your card there as the previous reviews said, though you can if you want. You can do everything from your phone. The food came out timely and it was delicious. Highly recommend the turkey sandwich! My kids had chicken tenders and wings and were raving about the buffalo sauce. The refills were a little weird because you have to wave down a waiter for them. Appreciated having a charging station at our table."

"Confusing when needing to pay at your tablet however as the swipers get confusing and I ended up accidentally paying for the person’s food across from me. A very wonderful server went out of their way to help fix the issue and also get the miscommunication refunded to me right away. Really wonderful service, and the food was delicious."
