"Booked and paid 5 days in advance for a catered event. Called the day before to confirm pick up at 12p. I get there at 11:50a to be inform the food is now being cooked and it won’t be ready. I had to demand a some type of refund and they didn’t even give me back half of the payment. The food ended up being 2 hours LATE!! As a West Indian, it’s disgusting that black business continue to do this to their communities. I would NEVER RECOMMEND them for events. Mind you the owner suggested that I could travel from Queens to pick up in Brooklyn. Should be SHAME"

"Just came back from ordering from this place this my second time and I have to say over priced and I will take my money else where it’s always the girls they are extremely rude . They take my order far away I have to raise my voice to speak what I want. when you just want to ask a question about the food she did a horrible packaging job because I ask a question didn’t even hand me my food after I payed just packed it and walked away with a attitude this is the first soul food spot I ever went too that serve raw cabbage and I’m from Brooklyn . I also called before coming into the store too ask if the cabbage is cooked today or do they normally sell it raw she said it’s cooked as I went into the store I ask again she tells me it’s half cooked lol . Ox tails usually be good but today the food literally has big pepper balls as if they don’t grind the pepper correctly not trying to choke on pepper won’t be coming back to this store I rather go too the other soul food spot by the Q6 by McDonald’s but Unfortunately it’s closed on Sundays ."
