"This place was totally great for a last min airport dinner. If you’re going to the airport to eat a gourmet dinner I am more worried about you then I am about the food at this place. But everyone who worked here was super friendly, the food came out fast and it hit the spot. French dip is good"
"DO NOT STOP HERE! The staff do not care about you or your time. They must have misplaced our ticket because an order of fries and another appetizer took over 30 minutes to arrive (restaurant only had 4 or so tables sat and 3 whole servers). Other tables arrived after us and ate before us. Very lack luster service and when fries arrived they were not even warm. When telling the server he tried to say there were a lot of tickets but other party’s came after and finished before us. No apology for the wait, just a few sorry excuses and an annoyed attitude from the waiter. Better off at the Dunkin’ across the way."
"As far as airport restaurants go, Uptown Brasserie deserves a good rating. Food was fresh off the kitchen, salads were really fresh and good, the steak was grilled as requested. We loved our waitresses energy and the space is nice. I had the penne, an unusual choice for me, I hardly ever eat pasta, and especially not pasta dishes in restaurants that I can cook at home but these were nice. The wine selection was not bad and we got water without wait. At the end of the day, it was a pleasant experience overall"
"Not sure where the chef got how to make a croque madame, but that wasn’t it. The bread was kind of stale, but the not stale part was tasty, I thought at first was toasted, but that wasn’t it. The Gruyère was pretty good and melty, missing the béchamel and just something about it was off, especially at the price point of $20. The fries were good and the service was okay. He was more into the soccer match on TV than providing service. I waited over 10 minutes to get my order taken and I never got water to drink. The meal took about 20 minutes to get out and there wasn’t a lot of people there for a ham and cheese sandwich with a fried egg on top. If was your normal food prices I’d give it more stars, but for 50 for a glass of wine and a sandwich then EVERYTHING needed to be a lot better."
