"A local brought us to this restaurant for lunch, and it was crowded during lunchtime. All staff can speak Cantonese/Chinese well. The dim sum portions are huge, ranging in price from $4.95 to $9.95 per plate. The staff will push a trolley to your table, ask what you want, and record your dim sum choices on paper. The dim sum tasted quite okay, especially the salted egg bun and cheong fun. No tips are needed for this restaurant. The only downside is that restroom cleanliness can be improved."
"Came here on Sunday night and there were multiple large tables available but we were a party of 2. They asked us to wait, so we waited 30 minutes then I asked them how much longer is the wait and the waiter said it can be another 1-2 hours. I’ve been here before but this is ridiculous. Lots of empty large tables and we can’t be seated but have to wait for the smaller table to open up. Smh"
"We ate at East Bistro, the first floor of East Buffet (unclear if it's a completely different restaurant?). We enjoyed most of the dishes! We might be switching to this for our family dinners... Pro tip - DON'T use the garage. There's a required $5 "tip" for the "free" restaurant parking with an extra $5 fee for larger vehicles."
"Was here on a Saturday and waited about 10 minutes for a table for 2. There were some unique dishes like a cold marinated tripe and herbal jelly, plus the usual shrimp crepes, shrimp dumplings, etc. Everything was pretty good, kept at good temperatures (hot egg tarts, yes!) but I found there was a little too much white pepper in the shrimp dumplings. For a Chinese restaurant, the service is pretty good - they changed out plates, removed completed dishes, and refilled drinks often."
"Free 1hr parking for spending more than $30 No tips! We spent $41 for two and we are stuffed. Delicious dim sum. Only down side is the noise level as we came during peak hours on a Sunday."
