"Food was pretty tasty however, the restaurant allows customers to bring their own alcohol and unfortunately there were so many males in there drinking. It’s pretty scary for a long islander not accustomed to this sort of environment. I can order from here for take out but females, I do not recommend dining in. The servers looked at my husband and I so awkwardly when we kept asking for the check because he was serving other customers while we waited a long time for the check."
"First time trying Apna Pind butter chicken.Butter chicken was very oily the gravy was totally off not smooth at all full of masala they really don’t care about their customers this was literally a heart attack worst food ever"
"This Indian/punjabi restaurant is really awesome and opens at 4 PM and closes at 4:00 AM. They are really busy, therefore please provide ample time to cook food."
"I’ve seen some of the one star reviews and completely disagree. Feels like they’re being attacked by other competitors in the area. I’ve literally been here 4 times for dine-in & ordered for take out 3 times - since they have been opened. Staff: they’re super friendly & explain foods if needed. Food: Tasty! There is flavor! If you want spicy - they’ll make it spicy! Trust me. I’ve had their butter chicken, chicken Tikka, sag paneer, and literally all of the naan varieties they have to offer. They make a great mixed Biryani. Chai is good here too. Price: I’d say average for the neighborhood. Decor: is nice. The front counter is a truck front end. I think it’s still a work in progress for the rest of the place. Great Indian / Punjabi restaurant now on Rockaway."
