"There was the sweetest little stray kitty cat that staff didn't really seem to care about, and a stray dog that some jerk left behind (he left three...the other two have been picked up) that staff had not pressed to capture. He approached aggressively and was growling at children, so they really need to deal with that. This is mostly residential campground with a few spots for the travelers (none of the good ones), so it wasn't quite as chatty as some other campgrounds, but it was very quiet at night so that part is perfect. Nice little beach area, but not much else to do since the hiking trails aren't really kept up. Leaf blowing ALL...DAMN...MORNING, so that really just ruins the ambiance. It really was constant, so don't come in the fall months! Bathrooms, however, we CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN! I did appreciate that. Gate locks at ten pm so if you decide to go into town and have some dinner, make sure you're home by then or you you have to park at the gate and walk back to your site! Nope...wouldn't go back."

"Been camping here for over 10 years and love it. Big sites and air conditioning in the bath houses. Wifi and laundry are also available. Big beach area for swimming and a playground for the kiddos."
"This is a well made dock to put your boat in. Plenty of room width wise and the ramps are roughed up so easy to get traction. Decent size no wake zone once your in water, so watch you speed and be aware of others. Not to crowded and overall great choice. 15 to 20mins from Rick's dockside or The Anchor."
