"This place has decent food but extremely overly priced . $20 for a medium plate rice , baked chicken & 3 pieces of plantain. This is a take out place. I can go to ANY Dominican spot and get the food for half the price."
"Amazing rice and beans. Maybe some of the friendliest people in the Rockaways hands down. Great to have a place that has healthy options. Especially vegetarian options."
"Delicious chicken soup! Best sweet plantains ever. Tasty favorable chicken, rice and beans lovely staff Very clean a real find ."
"Great place. Conveniently located, clean floors, clean buffet glass and tops. There are no seats but that's probably because of the virus stuff prior. Nevertheless the food is superb. I've had Dominican food in Washington heights, Roosevelt avenue in Corona, Queens and off the Grand Concourse in Fordham and this place is as good as any of them. I ordered a fried fish and steamed vegetables. The fish was moist inside and slightly crispy on the outside. I generally don't eat fried food but fish was on my mind so I went with it. The steamed vegetables were perfectly soft and just a wee bit solid at the core. The hot sauce is good. Not too spicey and not too tangy and not too liquidy. Ive had other dishes frpm here, I just didn't take pictures of it or wrote a review. But they have very sweet, somewhat soggy and lightly crisped plantains. Their pulled pork shoulder is perfect. Baked chicken is the same. Like there's really no dish here you can go wrong with. The counter people are pleasent. The young guy is attentive. There's no fake fast food smiles there. Even if the lines are long they're very efficient at getting you your order correctly and getting you out of there. It's never too packed and never too empty so the food isn't just sitting in the tray loosing it's freshness. Very reasonably priced. The Poland springs there are a dollar. Figure that out. This place rocks to be very frank."
"The chicken beans and rice was so delicious! Chicken was tender flavorful & perfectly cooked. Everyone who works here was so kind and attentive. Dominican food as good or better as any i’ve had in the city. Definitely come here before after or during your beach day."
