"The food was decent but the service was slow and the place wasn't even crowded yet. It was about 9 am. The mangu didn't look too appetizing but the rest of the stuff was ok. Not a "go to" place but more of "in case of emergency" place."

"When it comes to Latin food there are a plethora of options in the 5 boroughs. When you can find a place that is priced reasonably well all while tasting good, you’ve found yourself a regular spot to go to anytime you are hungry and in need of a meal that will do you justice. El Dorado has been a spot I’ve gone to numerous times and not once can I say the food hasn’t been fresh. I see some reviews mention they are rude to customers, I think the language barrier makes things harder as they hardly speak any English if at all for some in there. But they are all amazing and I say this and I’m not Latin American so I’m not being biased. The menu is packed with options for all of your wants and needs when wanting to indulge. It’s no fancy spot to dine in, it’s a spot you go in alone, with friends or family or your significant other and pack your belly happily and head home. Simple."

"I had order a salad with chicken cutlet and I asked the waitress if this was Chicken cutlet because it perfectly looks like grilled chicken and she said yes, she walked away with an attitude. I’m really disappointed at the customer service that I had received at this restaurant. I’m also disappointed at the food my son got which was pernil with arroz con gandules & honestly it tasted so disgusting!!!"

"Loved this place! Their tribes was awesome and filling. The food is tasty and in large portions. The staff are great and the atmosphere is lovely. Will definitely recommend it for a day to day night out. There is sports or other entertainment playing on the tv so you can go there to eat and won’t feel the need for company."
