Reviews of Soulful Foods
"I’ve been ordering from Soulful Foods via Uber Eats going on two years now and let me say they don’t miss. Yes it takes time to get my food but that tells me that they are cooking it fresh. Their food is absolutely delicious. Sometimes it’s so good I have to have it on back to back days. My favorites are the grilled sweet chili salmon, jerk ribs, potato salad, baked Mac n cheese, chicken all flavors, collard greens and potato salad. I plan to go one day to say thanks."
"I went here for hookah and drinks. When I arrived, I was informed that there was no hookah right now. I sat at the bar, waiting forever for a drink. There was a guy behind the bar talking, playing music, and ignoring the customer. The hostess walked up to me asking if I wanted anything. I said yes, a drink. She walked off to tend to some other customers. I walked out no hookah, no drinks."
"This place is awesome. The fired shrimp is so good. The best part its in Brownsville!! Thank you for coming to the hood!!"
"Ok service. But as black woman if your mac is nasty I have no desire to taste anything else. I’ve had fried mac and cheese balls made properly with bread crumbs. Not a scoop of half melted Mac and cheese made into a ball and thrown in some grease. It was gross and tasteless. Burned and tasteless. The cheese was cheap and unmelted. I have no desire to order anything else. There’s a Caribbean menu but in my neighborhood, the 2-3 Caribbean restaurants serve garbage food because the people of Brownsville do not quality Caribbean for like in other great parts of Brooklyn. It’s the consistency of mediocre in this part of Brooklyn that truly sucks."
