Reviews of Soul Food & Sea Food
"I’ve tried most of the soul food places in Brooklyn since I’ve moved here from the South, and hands down this is the best. Great portions, very friendly service and the food!!!! Amazing fried wingettes are as big as a leg. Oxtails the best, that sauce! The best collards I think I’ve ever had. And everything is so fresh."
"Take out place. Food is very good. Desserts are good as well. If you like soul food without having to cook it yourself, this is a good alternative."
"10 outta 10 hands down, the gentleman that took my order was so nice and very accommodating, he allowed me a taste test of the oxtails and they were amazing. I ordered a large with the rice and pea and collard greens . I also ordered the fried chicken wingetts with Mac and cheese.. soo good omg ! Highly recommend this place, I will definitely be returning soon"
"Again, I am hanging with my cousin, looking for some food on Labor Day. Stumbled upon this spot. As soon as I walked in , I recognized the lady and tried to place her. Her family owns a few eateries around Brooklyn. However, I ordered BBQ wingettes, peas n rice, collard greens, and yams with macaroni salad on the side. There was no cornbread, now you know i needs my cornbread, lol. She threw in some cakes n pies. I had enough food for 3 people. My order was very affordable, and the food was OK. The greens could have used a lil mo seasoning. Nothing a lil hot sauce can't do to help. I love sweet potatoes anything, but i didn't like the pie they have or the cake. Take a lil mo time and love ❤️ with those things I'd mentioned. It was close to closing, and they had a substantial amount of food left.maybe that's why I had a lot of food in my plate. She mentioned that the whole family was closing all the stores down at one time in 30 years to go on a much needed vacation for 2 weeks. To the family, thank you all for your service throughout the years serving yours and our community. Continue to be great, peace and love ❤️"
"Mac & Cheese, collars greens and Lima beans really good. The fried Chicken was crispy and cooked well. But they could have added more seasoning. A little bland"
