"Overhyped and honestly no soul. Food portions are tiny and so the place is expensive and you leave hungry. Food taste commercial, service is slow and seats are uncomfortably. I likes the moonshine sour. Fried okra was just not fried right and to tiny for finger food sauce was commercial. Both my wife and I’s Benedict’s were tiny 2 chicken waffle thingies or crab cakes with grits that were mid. Disappointing. Not returning, try again."
"This place is awesome! Great food, Freak Cakes are amazing. Bottomless drinks are YUM, and def worth the $22 for 1.5 hours. Must try the Sparkling S.H.I.T.. The Fruit Ambrosia memes in your mouth."
"Fantastic atmosphere and southern food. Went for brunch and got the crab cake eggs Benedict with a side of cheesy grits. Everything was cooked to perfection: excellent hollandaise sauce, yokey egg, crab cake and homemade English muffin. Also had a Bloody Mary which was delicious."
"This was my first time visiting Sugar freak. I had a pleasant experience while dining here. I went during brunch hours on a Sunday, which was busy and filled with people. Menu is focused on the creole cuisine. I ordered the gumbo and eggs w/ rice on the side and the bottomless drink This included an hour and a half of unlimited bottomless drinks( mimosas, Bloody Mary and others). Since this was my first time trying gumbo, I was pleased with how the food tasted. Service was quick and efficient as soon as you entered the door. Food came in a quick and timely manner, despite the high volume of customers. I enjoyed my visit at Sugar freak."
