"**UPDATED REVIEW DEC 2023** Came here again because my first experience was decent. This time was unfortunately not as good as the first. The service was not good. Although it was quick, the 2 older women behind the counter were very rude and not welcoming at all. For food, I got the steak quesadilla. Great presentation, but a miss on the taste and quality. The food was over fried, leaving little taste. The meat was super rubbery. I felt like I might never stop chewing. I may have been unfortunate the times I was here, but rude service stops me from trying another dish. Plenty of Mexican spots in the area. I won't be coming back. **ORIGINAL REVIEW** Stopped in for a quick takeout meal. I went with a steak boritto. The boritto was an okay size for the price. The taste overall was good, but it felt like it was missing something. It came with a small salad, but the dressing was Italian, which was odd for me. The green sauce was very tasty. I'd like to try the tacos next time I go."

"OMG. . . I stopped here because I was doing a late job in the area. They did not disappoint. I had some tacos, my helper had a burrito. Everything was amazing. If I were a tourist, this would be the place I would want to stumble upon. It's the perfect off main street, Mexican experience. I even got treated to a beer from one of the guys at the bar. Everyone is super friendly. I think just because I'm black the patrons threw on some hip-hop music to be neighborly. If I lived in the area this would be my hangout spot. I would recommend Mi Barrio to everyone."
