"The food is pretty darn impressive here, i was surprised. I like how they keep it simple, it is all about the soup, few menus, and kimchi side dish. That's all you need really. This place was pretty crowded though and the one lady on the floor was having bit of hard time keeping up with all the orders. Really good spot, i am guessing it's a hot spot in pal park already."

"Delicious soup for a reasonable price. We ordered a short rib stew along with potato pancakes and seafood pancakes. The Galbi Jjim was extremely tender and well seasoned, the crispy pancakes had everything we expected for. Definitely recommend this spot if you’re into soup dishes."

"We visited Korea over the summer (first time back in 40 years), and we loved the rich broth that we had all over Seoul. We missed the taste. Coming here it is very authentic Korean broth. It's rich and the Kimchee has that lovely home-made taste. The lady was doing the orders, taking phone calls, and running around cleaning up, bringing food, and even came by and offered us more kimchee. This is the kind of service you'd expect. Lots of respect for her. If you want to know what authentic Korean soup tastes like, I would highly recommend this place."

"I had been looking for a good Korean beef soup since moving to the area and Google lead me to here. It is definitely worth the visit. I ordered the 특곰탕 and enjoyed it. I was surprised the broth was clear. The broth is more like Naju Gomtang, but no complaints from me on that. It wasn’t exactly a Naju style gomtang though as there was no sliced strips of egg or red pepper flakes. I guess this was a hybrid of typical Gomtang and Naju Gomtang. The woman waiting the tables runs around a lot. I have a lot of respect for her doing phone orders, serving all the tables, and even sometimes plating the food. She was also very kind. If you are craving a good beef soup and you are in Palisades Park, I highly recommend."

"My favorite place for Korean comfort food. If you’re looking for a good “tang” place, this is it. The broth is rich and delicious. The presentation of the food is very good and staff is friendly. You wouldn’t expect this kind of presentation at a small place like this, but they make it work. I love their Yookyejang!"
