"I will never eat here again! Rude! Mediocre Food! Bill Surprise! I was treated in a shockingly offensive way by the staff and by the owner/manager! *** Food Not so Great. The food was acceptable but not great (I had a Bistec Salteado - it tasted OK but full of large pieces of fat that you chew forever but then have to spit out). *** Rude Guest Treatment. Before I finished eating, they suddenly cranked up the volume so loud I literally felt vibrations in my body. I was too stressed out to even finish my food. Then, when I expressed my concern, the staff and owner/manager refused any meaningful resolution - they basically offered to put my food in a bag and watch me leave! (i.e. I asked to slightly lower the volume for a few minutes so I could finish eating... or to adjust the bill because I couldn't finish eating). And then they threw insults at me! (i.e., paraphrasing - "you're such a loser eating by yourself" and "you're just trying to get away without paying your bill") An attitude of indifference, at best, but possibly even hostility, IMHO. (Note. I'm obviously not Latino - and another review alluded to issues, but I really don't know if this has anything to do with this). *** Bill Surprise *** As others have mentioned, my bill was also WAY more than I expected. *** Postscript *** I paid the bill in full but without tip and asked the owner/manager to assure me he would apply a small adjustment for my incomplete meal to tip the server (who wasn't involved in the insults or "executive" decisions). And he wouldn't even agree to do that!"

"Love this place! This is my 3rd time here but I don't think I ever gave a review. Excellent food, wonderful environment, friendly staff and good drinks. Be prepared for an automatic 15% gratuity on your bill and a fee for using debit or credit card. Didn't have that the first two times I came but it was actually less then I would have actually tipped."

"First I’ve been in the mood for pupusas forever ! So i decided to order from here. First I went on the website and it had the option to order online so I put my order in the cart and it totaled to $33 but it was askin for my Visa card and I was paying cash so I decided just to call my order in. How did it come out to $37 when I called. It made no sense ?!? Anyways I was cool paying it cause I was in the mood. We ordered the grilled chicken w. Shrimp with tostones and rice as the sides. They give you like 4 little shrimp. I ordered one order of frijoles y queso pupusas which comes with 3 pupusas. The worst pupusas I’ve EVER HAD ! The frijoles had no flavor and the masa was hard. Horrible!!! And we orders two shakes . Mango and trigo. These shakes were hot and had no sort of ice. It was so watery . And not even filled up. So my boyfriend goes inside to pick up the order . He’s a light skinned Brazilian and when he walked in not one of the employees asked him he if he needed help . He said they were all just standing there not even busy and didn’t even ask if he needed anything . He stood there for a while till he got service from someone the food was just sitting there . That’s so rude cause I’m a latina and jus cause someone may look white doesn’t mean you should jus ignore them. Never coming here . Worst pupusas ."

"SERVICE IS TERRIBLE!!! SERVICIO ES PÉSIMO! Food is just OKAY, But service is just unbelievable... slow and BAD. We went on a Sunday (10/17/21) a family of 4 and our server (skinny guy with a terrible attitude) Christofer... this guy just HATES TO WORK THERE or he hates his life, cause he will provide you the worst customer service around... he never greeted us, he straight up asked: Que van a ordenar?, and he never checked on us, we had to wait 20 min for forks and knives after our appetizer came, like what the heck? We wanted another round of drinks and that was almost impossible, till we had to ask the only lady serving there, which also treated us like she doesn’t care (it’s not her table)... too sad cause we came from NY to eat and have a good vibe on a Sunday and this place is just not it at all! No lo recomiendo y no volvería! SERVICIO ES TERRIBLE... everything took so so long, that I was amuse by it... I asked the server 7 times for a to go container for some empanadas and he NEVER brought the box, till I asked him if there was an issue on taking a to go box? Terrible!! And the tip is included, so don’t bother fighting it"
