"So with an heavy heart and disappointment, unfortunately I have to give pier 76 just the worst customer service review. Being a Staten Island native in the north shore I have ordered and frequent pier my son has grown up here. My family that frequently visits internationally and domestically, this is my go to place to give them a great taste of Staten Italy and never disappoints with the food; I literally was here a week ago with family and ordered the calamari and pizza (artichoke and meat lovers) which they absolutely loved and the bartender was just great. However I ORDERED food for delivery (which is done often and the usual few items) consisting of shrimp parmigiana (served with only 4 medium GRILLED SHRIMP in marinara and penne, NO CHEESE) calamari (súper over cooked with no marinara) And an arugula salad with over cooked grilled chicken for a total of $67 plus tip $75. So I called to ask how they served the shrimp parm (which I’ve ordered many times and I know comes FRIED WITH JUMBO SHRIMP, SAUCE, CHEESE AND THE PASTA IN A SEPARATE PLATE) because maybe they’re short staffed and made the order wrong, whatever. The girl who answers the phone gave me, “oh thats how the owner makes it, I don’t know what to tell you” when I asked for the manager after 10 min on hold (I’m sure explaining) CAITLEN said you have to request fried shrimp parm ( imagine that shrimp parmigiana not fried and no mozzarella) and I’ll refund you on 5th missing shrimp for you next order and hung up. I mean if I’m a first timer or the 100 timer you need to do better. In Staten Island thats part of the key to success consistency and client satisfaction."
