Reviews of Rock Creek Falls Hiking Trail
"We absolutely loved this hike. Serene sounds and views of the falls the entire way. At times even crossing over the water to get a more spectacular view of the falls. If you are fit this hike won’t be a problem. I am 55 and fit and thought it to be easy to moderate. Plan to take breaks and a lot for the time to do so. I would recommend this hike and I would do it again in a different season."
"Nice trail. We messed up though and couldnt find the falls. It was also getting late when we were there. DOGS aren’t allowed in the pool. Day use is $2 per vehicle. The playground is scarily outdated, but my Husband and I went on the swings anyway. Hiking markings on trees are pretty good."
"Campground is clean & quite host was great. Hiking trail, playground & swimming area great for family outing. Look forward to planning our next trip there."
"Great trails. If you are going in the wintertime to see the falls proceed with caution! You need to cross two frozen streams! Like jump from rock to snowy/icy rock using walking sticks for balance. Ton of fun."
"Beautiful trail. We were camping at the campground so we cut probably a mile off the app stated round trip distance of 5 miles. It's still mostly an uphill hike but not a terrible steep incline. Made it with 2 kids 5 and 7. There are 4 creek crossings to get to the main falls. The day we went the creek was high and there was no way to avoid getting your feet wet. We met people on the way back thay turned around at the first crossing. Several small cascades along the way. Saw some Eastern Newts as well. There's another large fall before the main fall with a side trail to get down to it."
