Reviews of Red Fork Falls
"We hiked this trail today in snowy conditions. The trail is marked with orange flagging tape so you can easily find the trail that takes you to the falls. The falls were totally worth the trip. I’d say the trail is a mix of hiking, bouldering and rock hopping. You do have to cross 2 creeks that you may get your feet wet so bring waterproof shoes/boots so you don’t have to hop from rock to rock. I imagine that in the summer this would be a great place to cool off in one of the falls reservoirs."
"Absolutely worth the hike. I wouldn’t say it’s “treacherous”, but it definitely ain’t easy lol. Few steep and slippery parts, but if you dig adventure, it’ll be right up your alley."
"This is a family favorite! We biring all our guests here. Very short hike with mild climbing. Just remember to turn right at the campsite and cross over the the creek and then over another to get to the path. Trail is well traveld and easy to find as long as you get the first turn correct"
"I was able to make it to the top of the waterfall today, but the skies kept me from going to the bottom. The pictures from the bottom are great.... can't wait to get there next time. I've attached a few pictures of the trailhead. It's a very small pull-off from the road.... The trailhead is marked in Google Maps."
"So gorgeous!! Very short hike...there's really no space to park, more of a pull off of the road mostly but it's not a busy area. The hike down/up is steep but not difficult. If you plan to do it in the winter be very aware of the ice!! I made it all the easy to the base (my husband wasn't going to try) bring a hiking pole and stay away from the edge!"
