"I like walking here but I almost always have to pee first. Just saying. And since I can't do that, I can't walk there. I can't just drive 40 minutes on my way home from work and stop there as I always did. This might be discrimination against women and seniors. Seriously. BECAUSE now suddenly you need to know the code to use the bathroom. What is up with that? I never did anything to make those bathrooms nasty. This is classic making everyone suffer for the sins of a few."
"Great place to go with the fam to get away from city life. Dogs even got a nice kick out of it. Definitely will return, peaceful & after the week we had, a well appreciated walk in nature. Cannot recommend enough if you make it up that way."
"The location is perfect. The pavilion is on the French Broad River and has a public bathroom. The bathroom was a classic park bathroom and could’ve been cleaner but as expected for a park. The booking was easy and we didn’t have any difficulty with management. The pavilion has 3 large picnic tables and 1 large folding table. There is one charcoal grill. Overall had a great time and would recommend!"
"We walked for an hour along the river. We met several people along the trail with dogs. It’s was sunny and warm outside. Great experience."
"Great small park to take a dog like mine, who has arthritis and cannot really exercise heavily. A walk around takes 10-15min and there are 2 tiny libraries in the park. It’s also a nice place for picnics and small gatherings, but I typically go on weekdays in the morning, so it may be busier on weekends?"
