I went in the next day to purchase a battery and fortunately Solomon was there and he took care of me and Tyrek completed my transaction. Within the time they stated, an hour and a half, I was out of there. Great team at Pep Boys on Peninsula."

"Why? One would ask. Paul is very hospitable however, $347 for a battery that costs the store $146 is ridiculous. My situation was emergent or I would've left that battery right there. As a funeral director I need my vehicle to move on demand and that wasn't happening for two days. Return there? I'd say never....not happening. Highway robbery is a word for sure; disrespectful."

"Had the worst experience at this location. Solomon was very rude and unprofessional. I went in for an oil change and tire rotation. He tried to charge me all this extra money. When I showed him the advertised pricing and what’s included directly from the Pep Boys website, and asked him to explain why he’s charging so much more… he told me I didn’t know what I was talking about and if I didn’t want the work done I should have taken my car somewhere else. Said he would cut me a deal under the table if I paid cash. He also said if you don’t like it, have fun complaining about me! And they didn’t even rotate my tires as promised! If I could rate the Hempstead location 0 stars, I would."
