"Literally the worst Jamaican food I have ever eaten. I ordered a small oxtail peas and rice and collards of course I was given the wrong order. Instead I got jerk chicken legs HUGE legs. (I have never seen this before) they were dry. The rice and peas tasted sour and the plantains were old. My man who is from Jamaica ordered red snapper rice and peas and plantains. The snapper tasted like it had been soaked in vinegar for days. All of the food was underwhelming. It doesn’t help that they aren’t opened again until Tuesday. I will be back home then and will plan to dispute it with my bank. So very disappointing…"
"Tried for then first time and was not disappointed! Had the jerk chicken and it was very tasty! Perfectly seasoned! Will def be back to try the other items on the menu. It’s take out only. No tables or chairs. This food is just what this neighborhood needs! Give them a try you won’t be let down."
"I must say I was a bit enchanted by the owner’s pictures of the snapper, full snapper, that looked more baked vs the fried one we had. Although it wasn’t great, it wasn’t bad either. Meaning I won’t get up in the morning and crave this snapper but we ate it and it was good food. The coconut rice was decent as well and the fried plantain was good as well"
"Not your average Jamaican/Caribbean food spot. Think modern and FRESH. I love their sautéed kale, patties and plantains. Tried the oxtail with rice and peas today and it was absolutely amazing ( def shareable, I think it comes in one size but that’s a decent size dish!) I love that they make certain things to order so the food isn’t just sitting on a steam table all day. Great service as well."
"Food is delicious. Red snapper with coconut rice and peas and plantains was delicious. Fish was done perfect, you could taste coconut in rice and peas. Mac and cheese was good. Home cooked meal for take out. Definitely will be back when in this neighborhood."
