Reviews
"Great Pizza, best in the area, customer service is the best super friendly."
"I've never eaten there, but the delivery was quick and the food was amazing. Try their gyro."
"Nice enough pizza joint. Good chicken parm sub, very thin cutlet but decent amount. They also have good sicilian slices."
"i ordered a meatball hero and it liked so cheap and poor. in sandwich we’re 2 golf balls size cut in half and with very little sauce. i was soooo disappointed i just ate what i could cause i was hungry but never again. i had a slice of pizza that is usually nicely crispy but it was soggy…never again…lll be going back to Sam’s Pizzeria. Latina who served me was not friendly and just dry personality…I’ll never go back"
"Now, the reason for my review. Last week I had a big order. I had a small tribe to feed. Wife picked it up, came home, the food was burnt! Burnt like some1 left my order in the oven for far too long or like a reheated burnt, like if it wasn't freshly made. Things happen. Sometimes you have rookie incompetent employees. I called spoke to Carlos, the owner or mngr (the game between him and his dad as far as who's the owner is ridiculous) went ahead and gave my complaint. I took pictures. He offered to replace the order right away or to accept credit on the full order. Wow that was a positive thing. I accepted the credit. I told him to write a note in my info in the computer, which every business has. He said no need to, he'll remember. Now, a week later, I call and place my order and remind them about my credit. I go to pick it up and then I get denied my credit. He said that he never said full credit. Carlos wasn't there, but his dad was. Got into an argument with the old man, his dad and I insisted him to get Carlos on the phone just to let his father know what was agreed on. Carlos betrayed me. He was the Judas to my Jesus. Telling me that he can't credit me. HOLY CRAP, did I get upset! Make it short I told him I was going to go on Google and give a bad review and post the pics, I didn't want to speak anymore and told him to figure it out with his dad on what I will be charged. I also said that this will be the last time I order from them or walk in to eat with my family. Outcome: he credited me the pie and the Sicilian slice, but not the beef patty, garlic knots or the 2 pepperoni slices. The old man's attitude was a basic, "I dont give a crap on how your food came out." What happened to good service? "I know it was you, Fredo. You broke my heart. "You Broke My Heart" I've been coming to Gianni's since the 70s with my dad. This location has been through a few owners and kept the original name, but do no service to the original. Nothing will ever beat the original Gianni's. These owners now are decent, its not bad, but then again I'm limited to the amount of good local pizzerias in the neighborhood. Keep in mind real italian owned and operated pizzerias are becoming scarce. I usually find myself in the city like Prince St Pizza, Lombardi's etc... Guys if you want the neighborhood to love you, just do the right thing!"
