"A wood fired brick oven on top of a trailer being hauled by a pick up truck...an unusual but welcomed sight to New York City. The banner of the Pozzuoli Pizza shack claims that they can serve you delicious hot pizza from the oven within 90 seconds and boy did they hold up on that claim. I ordered a Margherita Pizza which was priced at $10 dollars for approximately a 10-12 inch Pizza pie. The Pizza pie came out within the promised time frame, the dough was nice and chewy with a nice crisp on the bottom of the slice. What I found somewhat lacking is the depth in flavor or saltiness in the Pizza, the sauce was very bland as was the mozzarella cheese that was used. A touch of sea salt would have elevated the Pizza pie to higher heights. All in all a very cool spot to grab a quick pizza pie and enjoy it amongst friends. When I inquired about some napkins to take away the chef grabbed a piece of waxed paper and handed it to me...nice touch."
