Pizza D'Amore

"Hands down, this place makes the best veggie pie in Brooklyn!!! There's at least 2 pounds of fresh vegetables on this pie, broccoli, spinach, peppers, and I get onions instead of mushrooms...Delicious and Nutritious!!!"

"When I arrived, the restaurant was quiet, not exactly busy. The decor was decent, nicer than your regular mom and pop pizzeria. I ordered my pizza and it wasn't what I expected. Chewy and no signs of burning or charring which I usually like. It was just soft, chewy and limp. I had the Caesar and my friend got a plain slice. She felt the same. The staff seemed the be friendly with the regulars that walked in, but pretty quiet with non-frequent customers like me. In the past I ate on the restaurant side and it was nice. Not sure about now. All I know is that the pizzeria side is less than mediocre. I got a glass bottled soda and asked for help opening it and the guy behind the counter told me it was a twist of. I started that I knew that and handed him the bottle saying I couldn't open it... So service-wise they could have been nice about it and just opened it without saying anything. I took a spinach roll to go for my parents and we ate it the next day. It was overly cheesy and did not taste like what I expected a spinach roll to taste like from a Brooklyn pizzeria. So the experience was more than disappointing."

"My daughter found this in here pizza that was delivered to her school for lunch along with others. Response: If your so sorry and mortified than why did you refuse to refund the school. And you havnt delivered to her school for 10 yrs, you must be talking about another school that you delivered pizza with roacges on. This isn't a one time occurrence either because I know another one of your restaurants on ave u was shut down by the board of health a year or two ago."

"We had a charming lunch at D'Amore. Pasta was the name of the game. In this cozy comfortable atmosphere we enjoyed our flavorful meals. We ordered fettuccine with savory garlic and olive oil. The second dish was the cheese-u-lious baked ziti. Although we didn't partake in their elevated desserts, it's a great reason for a return visit."
