Reviews of Takkii Ramen
"Came for lunch. This is a new ramen restaurant in Syosset we were excited to try. As one might expect, the menu has a variety of ramen in addition to a few other appetizers and items to choose from. We all liked our meals. With that said, there was an overall agreement that the ramen here was about average. The flavor was good, but not memorable. The noodles were standard, and the portion sizes were average as well. Outside the fun wooden serving spoons and cool anime paintings on the wall, I struggle to find something that genuinely stood out to me. Prices for most ramen were in the $15-18 range. I would come again, but maybe not with bounding enthusiasm."
"Second time coming here I ordered the Black Garlic Tonkotsu Ramen and Black Garlic Edamame. Both were delicious. The first time I went to the restaurant I ordered the Korean Kimchi Ramen."
"Good ramen, outstanding chasiu slices and dices across all of their dishes. Will definitely come back."
"Nice little place, nice and clean. The staff were friendly. The ramens we ordered was very good. Love the broths, not greasy like other places I have tried locally. The dessert completed the meal. Will return to try other dishes."
"Very enjoyable meal! This place is a bit off the beaten path for me but was well worth a short drive. It's actually walking distance from the train station, so if you ride the rail, you have a great ramen option. I went with the black garlic Tonkotsu Ramen and chasu talking buns. The buns were so fluffy and flavorful. The ramen broth was out of this world. The overall flavor of the tender pork, black fungus, and eggs, among other ingredients, went together so well. The staff was delightful and the restaurant was very clean. The toothpics they used in the buns were so fancy that I felt bad throwing them out."
