"This motel is exactly what you hope to run into as a traveling worker with a small budget. It may be a bit outdated, but the entire place was very clean and kept up properly. Certainly one of the few cheap options for a place to stay in that area, but does not compensate like most motel owners on budget do. Room and towels, facilities and amenities all work and were very clean. Water is clean enough to drink, also never had to deal with unwanted or unruly guests. Mr. Ken McClure runs a tight ship there, and I definitely will be staying again, givin the opportunity to do so. Casey Local #147 operating engineers, va."

"I will say that the rooms are clean, they have your basics, and the gentleman who takes care of the place is very nice and will do everything he can to make your stay positive. This is an older motel, and shows it's age inside and out, but I would definitely stay there again without hesitation. Thank you!"

"Wonderful experience yet again with Mr Ken. We stayed Sunday night all day Monday and Monday night and left about 11 am Tuesday morning. It was wonderful & peaceful & just amazing. Our family, my uncle, my husband, our 4 year old son, my (my husband's step daughter) 18 year old daughter, and myself (5 of us) decided, around the 2nd week in August-2020, to take a mini mountain vacation. We ended up staying right here, turning at the meadows of Dan and going towards the blue ridge parkway and come up on this cute, small, quiet hotel "blue ridge motel" so we pulled in and to the back where the office is. Talked to an very nice older gentleman that was so hospitable and kind. We got a double bed in our room. It was cute, nice, clean, all we needed. We're country folk anyways. It don't take much to please us. The man whom rented us the room was super awesome, got us extra bathroom linens. We went and got KFC and fixed him a plate as well. No one bothered us, and we didn't bother anyone. Plan on another trip, to this motel very soon! Don't want to, and wouldn't want to stay anywhere else. Thanks for making our stay quiet, peaceful, lovely, and a priceless, memory for my family and myself. See you soon!"
