"It has definitely been updated and redone. I had a wonderful stay and the man at the front desk was nice and helpful. He represents the property well. I believe they need a new housekeeping team. Also the woman who works the front desk in the man's absence is not nice at all. We will definitely put this on our travel spots.The rooms are non smoking which is good. Those of us that smoke, they have a nice area around back that is just beautiful really. I sat back there and watched the sun go down and it was beautifully calming. So all in all I think they did a wonderful job."

"We love it here. I’m originally from Mt Airy but moved a lot thru out my life. This place has a down home feeling that I associate with my granny’s house who has moved on but I feel a little of the feeling of being at her house. Glad y’all are there."

"When we checked in at 11pm we asked what time checkout was. We were told 11am. I asked the 77yr old man if 12 would be OK since we arrived late. He said that that would be ok. House keeping lady came knocking on the door at 1130 and really started.running her mouth. Threaten to call the cops and throw our stuff out the door. Would have been a good stay if that lady would have kept her mouth shut. It not even 12 yet and im.writing this review."

"Great place to stay. The rooms had a feeling of home. I loved the rocking chairs they have out front. You can set and watch beautiful sun sets and rock your cares away. And the price is very affordable. And rooms very clean. And conveniently located to the heart of mayberry. Do come for a visit.."
