"Amazing coffee selection, they have turmeric latte to die for. Really unique breakfast brunch spot. Amazing addition tor he neighborhood."
"Was in BK before the crazy down pour and happened upon this black-owned bakery. The woman there was so friendly. I was hungry. Saw this beautiful pastry and ordered two. Yummy! Danish topped with fig slices. Not too sweet, just perfect. Very clean and cozy. Places like these make me miss BK. Would definitely return for some of their other treats from local vendors."
"Service is exceptional. Employee/owner is super duper nice and she’s quick. Menu is delicious. Ambience and decor is super cute, tropical, classy, and relaxed. I’m Jamaican and this ackee and saltfish tastes AMAZING! It tastes like my mom makes it. The sorrel is perfect too! The space is beautiful and feels like being in a chill, tropical cafe. There’s WiFi, a chill second floor space, and beautiful decor. They have easy breeze reggae on the speakers too. It’s perfect and exactly what the neighborhood needed. It’s an homage to the Caribbean people who dominate(d) Crown Heights for generations. I can’t wait to come back"
"New favorite coffee shop in the neighborhood. The space is really great, with some seating upstairs, and the baristas / chef were super nice. I didn’t try any pastries or food, but they have a good assortment. Their coffee was also good; they use Counter Culture."
