"While not in a prime location, this little cozy coffee shop is very special. If you are nearby, just go. They are very intentional and detail-oriented for every order. Seasonal, Japanese inspired baked goods and drinks. Line can be long and service can be slow."
"A Japanese owned coffee shop named after the greeting you say when you enter your home. The place is meant to be welcoming and only a small number of people can be seated in. Black sesame latte tasted excellent and the pastries were not too sweet!"
"Tadaima has become my recent favorite bakery/cafe in Brooklyn. It is Japanese-owned where I could practise my baby Japanese. All the pastries are reasonably priced, but the drinks were quite expensive. There are only limited seatings, but it’s easy to find tables elsewhere inside or outside the building. Also the lines could be long sometimes and the pastries sell out early. * Kabocha Maple Muffin Fall is the best season to try out all pumpkin flavored food, and I was glad that I ordered it. The cake was moist and not too sweet. There were plenty of pumpkin chunks loaded in the loaf. To show my appreciation, I devoured the whole muffin in one sitting. * Yuzu Lemon Cake A lovely muffin decorated with yuzu glaze and dried flowers. It was too sweet for my liking tbh, but it really pulled in the citrusy fragrance that yuzu lovers will find it enjoyable. * Matcha White Chocolate Cookie * Salted Hojicha Chocolate Cookie I could finally get cookies with rich matcha/hojicha flavors that are comparable to those in Japan. These cookies weren’t overloaded with chocolate chunks so I could still taste the strong tea fragrance. Pretty sure they didn’t skimp on tea powder, and the powder quality was superior. They also held the perfect texture with crunchy edges. * Black Sesame Coffee I was blown away by the richness of black sesame — my mouth was filled with nutty and earthy aroma! Hands down one of the richest I’ve tried after Davelle and Kore. I didn’t expect it to be sweetened, so once again the drink was too sweet for me as the sugar might have sinked at the bottom. I prefer getting a cup of pure black sesame/matcha/hojicha latte next time."
"I despise lines but this one was worth the wait. I’m a caffeine fiend but I have to stop drinking caffeine by 12, so I tried their seasonal kabocha latte with oat milk (caffeine free.) This drink was a blend of pumpkin purée and maple syrup, with a layered foam topped with sesame, matcha, lavender or star anise, depending on the beverage. The result is a smooth blend of flavor - and the right temperature and crema. Truly, a drink that conjures fall with every sip."
"Perhaps one of the best cafe experiences I ever had. A tiny and cozy little place that makes you think of home. The ambience and music was perfect, making me remember good times with my family. The pastries were fresh and delicious, the black sesame latte full of flavor. Very small indoor space. Recommend everyone to drop by!"
