"On this rainy Sunday, I needed a hot dirty chai latte and stopped in. The pastries are from Balthazar and a 4 out of 5. It was missing something. The chocolate chip scone was OK. Nothing to knock my socks off. I did go at 2 pm on a Sunday so maybe not 8 am fresh. I read the previous reviews and want to make note of something. I don't expect the people who serve me to do so with a phony smile on their face. The gentleman who worked here was professional and polite. My coffee came out right and in a timely fashion. I will go back. Probably on a Saturday morning. I bet the pastries will be fresh then."

"Coffee is good and pretty nice setup. Downfall is that the service was really lacking. The barista looked upset and was stand off ish when taking our order. He was not welcoming and made us feel like he was doing us a favor. I try to support local businesses but that attitude/ vibe makes me not want to return."
