"I was excited to try this place. They serve Brooklyn Roasting Company coffee, my fave. How could they get it wrong? There were only 2 people in line in front of me. They had ordered 2 mochas and a slice of cake. I ordered a latte and a scone. It took 25 minutes for the server to make my drink!!! She seemed so overwhelmed with 3 customers. I went in having plenty of time but after waiting so long, I was late for an appointment. When I finally got my drink, it tasted watery…maybe something is off with their machine? I know it wasn’t Brooklyn Roasting‘s fault. So disappointed!"
"The bisquites were ok, but on a bigger size. I liked the plain one - not overly sweet which was good to have with butter. The behind the counter lady was very pleasant. Too bad they don't have matcha and have more coffee options than teas (ironically, it has Tea in its name). Also I wish their opening hours were longer than 4pm. The interior looked shabby quirky cute with some seating options fitting may be 8-10 people."
"This adorable little café on a corner in northern Brooklyn Heights is so perfect on this rainy Sunday. Via the foodforall app, I picked up two tasty scones with cream and jam, and I only paid fraction of the original price. I feel especially lucky about the sweet deal because the app is running a Halloween special, where if you make a purchase of sweet items, you get five dollars credit. So in my world, this means that I’m actually getting paid to eat. One of them is vegan, which makes it even better."
