"Empanadas and coffee are good. It’s the service.. they are sneaky! Becareful they try to charge you more then for what u get.. last time I went in I ordered a coffee and an empanada and the man charged me 12.21 I asked him twice if this was correct! Just seemed to much and he said yes.. I was in a rush so I left not thinking to ask for receipt… I came in today and asked for same exact thing and it was a lot cheaper, I was going to say something but I didn’t just laughed and sat there.. they are sneaky and crooks.. make sure you pay attention to your receipt."
"Very friendly staff! I had the chorizo and chicken empanadas. I enjoyed the chorizo more than the chicken but it was still pretty good. Also had a churro, but I didn’t like it. Each churro costs $2.50 so it’s almost as much as an empanada or one of the cakes. The iced latte was pretty good too. They have non-dairy milks too like almond and oat milk. The inside has 3 small tables of two with an additional 2 tables outside as well. Be mindful that much like the other stores in the area, street/metered parking can be difficult. Overall nice cozy spot worth checking out!"
"The man is a one man show. Cashier, cook and baker. I've never experienced so many versions of empanadas. Something for everyone and decently priced. He has some premade and heats them in an fancy oven right in front of you. Even has names branded in them. Very smart for those who get a variety. Small shop. Not big enough to eat in. Just big enough to wait. Love that he had a screen menu and it had beautiful videos of the empanadas. Something you see when you watch Gordan Ramsey shows. I had the shrimp, spinach/parmesian, and something else I forgot. Def wanna go back and try others"
"This place is more than a cafe...it’s a legit breakfast, lunch, empanada and bakery + cafe all in one! They have not 1 but 2 full casings on display of all their hot, cold, sweet and savory dishes on display, personal reheat any and all items for you and have great deals for free pastries and empanadas. Now the empanadas are of Argentina like their father store Choripan. Their staff is lovely, the have seasonal treats, new inspired treats and great holiday packages for pick up for a more personal touch. Great hours and always hot in there so you know they are freshly making and baking! Nice tea collection as well. Beautiful family owned as well. So happy they opened! Wishing them all the success."
