Carter Falls Trail,

"Hiked the upper and lower falls trail with a 2 year old and 2 month old. Took about an hour round trip. Wasnt quite a full mile in distance. To the most part the hike was "easy," only steep in a few places but there were ropes in place to assist you along the trail. The falls were beautiful! We saw a bunch of monarch butterflies as well as a North Carolina Crane bird!"

"We went to the lower falls first, then to the upper ones, much more spectacular, about 20/30 feet. The way to the upper requires a bit of scrambling but they definitely worthy, I thank whoever put a rope, it was very helpful to come up. Beautiful area, just a few people on a Wednesday."
