"Went with my partner. Had to wait almost an hour to be seated when I watched a table across from the bakery sit empty for 22 minutes. I ordered Cheeseburger cooked medium all-the-way with onion rings and water to drink. Our witress was great but I was not impressed with the food. Not sure what the fuss is about as i've heard it to be 'so good'."
"Recently, I took my girlfriend out for Date Night to Litton's on Essay Road, in Knoxville, TN. I have not been to Litton's in a long time but it has not changed much since the last time I was there. My Girlfriend has never been there before so this Restaurant was a new experience for her and us as a couple. Our Waitress/Server was Denise. My Girlfriend ordered the Daily Special which was Pork Chop with Stuffing, she got a side of Collard Greens and another side of the Sweet Potato Casserole. I ordered the Charbroiled Hamburger Steak (including Cheddar Cheese on top of the Grilled Onions with a Side of BBQ Sauce) with a double side of Sweet Potato Casserole. We were not able to eat all of our orders. Denise was kind and brought to go Boxes for us to take home. My Girlfriend and I also order some additional items to take home. My Girlfriend ordered a Coconut Cream Pie slice, I ordered a Chocolate Chess Pie slice and I ordered a slice of the Litton's Key Lime Pie for my Mom, because I knew that she would enjoy it. Denise was very kind to us. Barry Litton still owns and runs that Restaurant. Their restaurant is clean, plenty of parking, Wheelchair accessible as well, and The Staff are friendly & helpful."
"I went by myself, so I was seated immediately at a bar in the back. The service was great and my burger came out fast. I got the cheeseburger with pimento cheese and steak fries. The pimento cheese was not my favorite, but everything else was amazing!! There's a reason they've been a community staple for so long!!"
"A Knoxville old gem……still one of our favorite restaurants in town. Burger is one of the best i have had. I ordered medium-well and it’s spot-on: juicy and nicely charred. Chilidog was so good, both the chili and the hotdog. Tutle Brownie was also deliciously rich; the caramel sauce was yummy. They asked if we want the brownie warmed-up, which is the best way to eat that brownie. Neopolitan cake was a let down; it’s bland. I like the Orange&White cake and the German Chocolate cake i had last year. Next time i will try the coconut cream pie."
"Small restaurant behind a gas station. At a first glimpse it may not look as much, but you don't want to miss it! Awesome atmosphere, super friendly people and we got food recommendations from Mrs. Litton herself - burger and onion rings!). If you have a chance to sit at the back counter, and get to watch the rustling and bustling of the kitchen, don't miss it. A must stop kinda place!"
