"It's alright, games are very disorganized and almost every one we tried had pieces missing. Food and drinks are nice, but there was a burnt oil smell permeating the space. If I lived in Park Slope I'd probably go, but not worth the trip if other places are equidistant."
"Fantastic place to play board games! It was like $16(?) for me and my partner to play games for 3 hours is a comfy setting with a large selection. I don’t remember the exact price but it was very reasonable. The place even inspired me to start collecting Yu-Gi-Oh cards again from my childhood. Definitely going back any time I’m in the area."
"Pretty surly and unfriendly clerk at the front counter, who a) didn't offer to explain how the cafe worked and just took our money; b) rolled her eyes and said "what do you want me to do about it?" when we told her that the game we tried was missing some critical pieces; c) failed to deliver our drink order. There are also a few tables that are too small to effectively play games on, which makes me question why they are there. Honestly, just go to Brooklyn Strategist in Carroll Gardens instead. They are much friendlier and not run by disaffected Gen Z kids who don't really want to be there."
"Very nice place, everyone’s nice and energetic and fun to talk to, not much professionalism with the employees and might make your order wrong or take longer to get it since they work harder in talking to you and others then remembering about the kitchen but awesome place just would recommend buying snacks, drinks and food beforehand :)"
"For $8 per person for 3 hours worth of playing, I think it’s pretty worth it. This is a great place to hang out with your friends and have a chill day as they have a wide variety of games to play. However, I would like to say that immediately walking in, it smelled like PAM cooking spray. The smell stuck to me throughout the whole day which made me feel pretty disgusting. There was no sort of ventilation at all. Also, theres a lack of staff members. My friends and I waited 35 minutes for our drinks to be made. Other than that, my experience here was still pretty good because my friends and I did have a fun time together."
