"It's a cute coffee shop. Customer service isn't the greatest. I've been going to this coffee shop on a bi-weekly basis for almost a year, and it does not feel welcoming. They have a points system on drinks that I discovered on my own. I will not be returning because of an interaction with a staff this morning. This is not a way I would like to start my morning. My bagel was also burnt. Otherwise the coffee and lox Bagels are great."
"Excellent neighborhood coffee shop. I frequent this place very often due to the convenience and dependability. Prices are what you’d expect for NYC (not cheap), but they’re fast and tasty. They even have a garage door that opens with nice fresh air flowing in on a good day."
"Let me start with the positives: Their espresso is good - the lattes I order are consistent and never too bitter. This place also has GREAT bagels. I'm not sure where they source them from, but they're large, fluffy, and well baked. The service staff is always friendly and you can tell they hustle, work hard, and care about their customers -- although there's usually always a wait time for food. They are also (maybe unofficially?) a dog friendly establishment. Now for the negatives: Regular coffee is meh. I switched up my usual latte order to an iced coffee once, hoping to spend less $$, and won't do it again -- ended up tossing the coffee and ordering a latte anyway :/. And that brings me to my biggest negative...it feels overpriced. I got a small iced latte and an acai bowl and they charged me 19 dollars?!?! And when I got home, what I saw GREATLY disappointed me (disclaimer I walked for about 15 more minutes before getting back to my apartment). There was hardly any acai, it was basically liquid, and it was also terribly sweet. So my takeaway: it's a great place to go on the weekends for a "special treat" coffee and a simple snack (such as a pastry or bagel), but the food doesn't feel worth the price, and it won't be somewhere that I can visit for my daily cup of coffee."
"Great coffeeshop plus cafe. Coffee was served in these large cups. Food was surprisingly good. Definitely recommend the grilled chicken sandwich! Flavorful combination of chicken, pesto, tomatoes and melted cheese on crispy bread. The bread was also surprisingly flavorful. Great place to spend a short or extended amount of time in. Outlets available for laptop work."
"A cool spot to come for lunch with your coworkers or even a lunch date.... This place is just a quick service and AC away from a five star rating. Unfortunately when I went there they were three people waiting and I had ordered her a smoothie there was only one guy at the counter. Took my smoothie about 10 to 15 minutes come out. They have a lot of things on the menu I will deathly try the coffee one time. The setting is really cool but it was just really hot and the ACs were not on. That is why I had to get the smoothie and not the coffee."
