"Always friendly service, comfortable inviting café. I gave it five stars overall, but took one star off for Food because the espresso is on the lighter side. I would prefer darker, although this just is my preference as a longtime coffee roaster. It’s still my go to for hanging out for an hour or so."

"What can I say? I love this coffee but it goes far beyond just the coffee. Dane and the other wonderful individuals at City League just care about what they do, what they sell, and who they sell to. I can honestly consider Dane a friend of mine and I’ve never met the guy. This is because of his willingness to show kindness and provide an excellent coffee in the process. I live over 1,200 miles from Brooklyn and I can honestly say I’ll be a “regular” for a long time. Not only are you getting a carefully selected, roasted, and packaged coffee, but also getting an amazing experience to share. Buy this coffee and you’ll see what I mean. Absolutely fantastic."
