"Toskana Pizzeria in Douglaston is solid neighborhood restaurant. They serve a variety of Italian dishes, pizza's and wraps. My go to pizza is the regular think crust pizza. The crust is nice and crispy with nice sauce and cheese. Overall score on think crust pie 7.7/10. The grilled chicken broccoli rabe hero with melted mozzarella is very tasty and the portion is large. I tried the antipasto it was ok nothing special but to be fair delivered food is never the same. Overall it's a good option for pizza and heroes."

"Thanks to my friend for this introduction. I do not like pasta, and I am extremely picky with pizza. However, Toskana changed my mind. Only restaurant I will eat its pasta. The pizza is mediocre but like I said, I’m picky. The pasta that I always go for is the Pesto Rosso Toskana paired with the tossed salad and creamy Italian dressing. For some strange reason, they go very well together. The chicken is not over cooked and the sauce in the pasta is flavorful - not sour. They always give free garlic knots with my order and it’s good with the sauce from the pesto rosso. One of the great things about Toskana is their location. If you check their website, you can see the various locations. Service is always great and I have nothing to complain about."
