"Spent 4 nights at Warrior Creek CG and had a lot of fun. My wife shoo'd me out of the house, so I loaded up the camper/mtn bike and headed out. Nice campground and I had an excellent site with water and electric, but showers in one bathhouse were quite small, clean, but small. Sites are spacious and not crowded on top of each other. Warrior Creek Trail and the trail that runs to The Hub, Berms n Views, can be accessed directly from the campground. The Overmountain Victory Trail (OVT) and Dark Mountain Trail are located are at the W. Kerr Scott Dam and I DO NOT recommend riding the asphalt road, SR 268, from WCCG to the dam unless you've paid the premium on your life insurance policy. It's a busy road country road. The CG is close to Wilksboro with eateries and breweries to select from. Note-the trails are closed during and shortly after rainy periods. There are numerous playgrounds, boat launches, and picnic areas around the lake. Great Family vacation location!"
"Popular campground for families! Large lots, back-ins, pull- through. Water and electric only. Bathhouses, 2 dumps. Picnic tables, fire ring, and nice grills on each site. Some sites have river views. Fishing, playground, biking, hiking, enjoy the peace and quiet mostly!"
"Our 1st trip there and was pleasantly surprised. A nice clean campground with really wide sites. Make sure you have a map as it is easy to get turned around there! Luckily a very nice worker there helped us. I would recommend giving this COE campground a try."
"Nice park. Attendant checking us in was nice! Large site overlooking water. Seemed like more children on bikes. Some fishing. However, was nice and peaceful."
"Warrior Creek Campground is OPEN. Sinkhole is fixed. Sites are beautiful and spacious! Lots of access to the water for fishing and boating. There is an area to swim as well although they don't call it a swim beach anymore. Tons of trails for walking/bike riding/running. Bathhouses, restrooms, playgrounds. Dog friendly!"
