"We booked the 1850 House for our wedding weekend and our guests all enjoyed their stay. Unfortunately, the positive review ends there. Our contract states we would be refunded the deposit within 3-5 business days, however it took 40 days and many unanswered emails and phone calls. The innkeeper Joseph totally ghosted us via email and phone. This was the last thing we wanted to do post-wedding. Very disappointing and unprofessional service."

Rooms were comfortable, the common areas were relaxed and cozy and the outdoor deck area allowed us to have a fun dinner (utilizing the bar onsite). "We stayed at the 1850 House with a group of 14 friends for a long weekend. It was outstanding!!! We booked the entire hotel. The owners and staff went above and beyond to make sure that we had a memorable weekend, including organizing a specially catered dinner. The rooms are very comfortable and the mattresses are plush. The interior decor is charming and the front porch was decorated with mums. We enjoyed hanging out in the lounge areas. The outside amenities included a fire pit as well as seating areas."
