"Dinner was amazing as usual. My husband loves the stroganoff, one of his favorites. We changed it up and got the satay shrimp for an appetizer. I got the duck. I'm afraid Tim has ruined me getting duck anywhere else. His is so good none others compare. Wow! Can't wait to go back."

"A hidden gem in the Ulster County dining experience. Seven of us had Christmas Eve dinner here- our 3rd year in a row. Two of us ordered from the daily specials menu and both dishes, one a Spätzle and one a Jambalaya got good reviews. Two of us had the Chicken Piccata and we are still talking about how good it was. Reservations suggested. Give them a try. You won't be disappointed"

"I loved this place and felt lucky to find it. Definitely a locals spot. I had a nice old fashion and a meatloaf dinner with carrot cake for dessert. It was perfect. Love the atmosphere."

"The slowest service we have ever experienced. We waited over an hour to get our salad. We asked for extra salad dressing and told an additional $2. After an hour when we got our salad and bread. We asked for more bread and told it would be an additional $5. I hope the dinner, an hour and a half later, is descent. Dinner was fine. Will never return or recommend."

"The steak is perfect! My wife and I came here for date night and had a great time. The stone work and old timber’s are beautiful, the service was spot on, great wine selection, and the food is sooo delicious! And when the check came I was surprised by how reasonable the price was. We’ll be back!"
