"Hudson & Packard is awesome!! We've been wanting to check this place out for a long time and made a point to check it out while we were in Poughkeepsie. It most definitely did not disappoint!! The atmosphere is great, a compact space with cool décor and a lot of energy. This place has a buzz about it. We sat at the counter and got to watch the team making all of the food. It was extremely impressive to see the frequency they are able to churn out food while still providing a great amount of skill & care to each order. Despite being very busy, the owner Charlie stopped to chat with us a few times as did other members of the staff. They are such a friendly group and they really put the whole experience over the top for us. The food was everything we had hoped it would be and more. This is not your average pizza place. Hudson & Packard is exactly what you'd expect as the result of a Culinary Institute graduate opening a pizza shop. Elevated food that offers everything you love about pizza with the skill, craft & creativity of a trained chef. The crust is very light and flavorful with any number of delicious toppings to choose from. Everything we had was phenomenal, including the pistachio cake for dessert. In a region that offers a ton of great spots to eat, Hudson & Packard is definitely one of the must-sees. We will be heading back to the Hudson Valley soon to eat here!!"

"Extremely high quality Detroit-style pizza. Love the varieties they offer too. The atmosphere was really nice and perfect for a date night. Wings were fantastic and crispy. This pizza is absolutely Detroit quality! Happy to have something this impressive in New York."

"I heard great things so I was a little disappointed in the experience. Super confusing going in with no one greeting you or coming over to the table. Two tables that came in after us got their food first. Server was very friendly though. In my opinion the food looks much better than it tastes. We ordered a regular pie with sausage, an "S- Class" and half dozen wings. I felt the regular pizza was very bland."

"Coming from Brooklyn, Fantastic!!! Hands down THE BEST in wings!!! Perfectly crispy and dredged in sauce. As for the Detroit style pizza...WOW! The crust is perfectly crispy and the sauce is BOMB! HANDS DOWN DELICIOUS!!! This is a GEM OF A SPOT! Definitely gonna return KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!!!"

"So good! I had the cheese pizza - I wanted to see what the bare bones recipe tasted like. This pizza did not disappoint! It was STOUT. Perfect account of cheese, with a generous (but not too much) dollop of sauce on top. Order came as a rectangle nicely sliced into four pieces (I could only finish three, took the last one to go). Crust was light and airy on top, buttery (but not greasy) and crisp on bottom. Had two Mexican Cokes with it. Fast, friendly service! On street parking, and also a pay lot across the street."
