"This cafe has long been a family favorite! Without a doubt, it is one of the best vegan cafes in the country. Vegan restaurants seem to be dying out around the country but this one goes from strength to strength thanks to the indefatigable proprietress who always uses the freshest organic ingredients she can find to concoct her wonderfully tasty surprises. Moreover, she is always inventing new recipes using new and different ingredients. We had not been since she moved to her new location. And all we can say is, "Wow"! The new place is bigger and better than the old location. The staff are always sincere and helpful as well. Worth the price, worth the wait, worth the health!"
"Pureganic Cafe is our favorite restaurant. We have gluten-free and dairy-free members in our family and others who are not. We all enjoy the fresh healthy delicious vegan food. We enjoy the entrees as well as the option to fill a plate with several specialty dishes on display. The only problem is it's hard to choose! We find the prices reasonable as well. There are delicious smoothie coffee and dessert options. The staff are always friendly. Pureganic Cafe is clean, well lit, and comfortably casual."
"Awesome place with extremely friendly staff! We tried the following items: 1. Falafel (the best of the best) 2. Pizza (it’s the best vegan and gluten free pizza I’ve tried so far) 3. Mushroom panini (rich vegetable flavor) 4. Sweet French fries (not oily, just how I like it) 5. Stuffed cabbage and cauliflower curry (yum) The food is tasty and not over salted. Unfortunately, I live in a different state. But I’ll be back one day for a muffin, quiche, and some other items I haven’t tried :)"
"I ordered the falafel wrap and was blown away by the flavors down to the wrap itself. I took my time and thoroughly enjoyed every bite! Definitely returning to try more menu items!"
"Before the review key points: - ORDER TOTAL: $40 - Items ordered: Kale shake, overnight oats, pancakes The Pureganic Cafe is new here in Harrison. My girlfriend and I decided to visit and try it out. The first impressions were good. Overall, the atmosphere was "clean," and their goal of health driven food was noticed. Pureganic Cafe is a perfect place for someone with specific dietary needs. We ordered pancakes, overnight oats, and a kale shake. The kale shake came out in under 5 minutes, but our food took close to 20 minutes before we got it. This was supposed to be a quick breakfast stop, turned into an almost 1 hour process once we finished our meal. I make overnight oats all the time. It's a cold menu item, it should have been ready almost immediately just like the kale shake, and the pancakes could have been ready in under 5 minutes. The staff was very friendly, which is a plus, but our food cost $40 dollars (more than I've ever spent on breakfast) and the food wasn't "insanely out of this world," it was just "okay." I'm not sure we will be back soon. For us it wasn't worth the $$$ or the overall taste. However, this location is PERFECT for someone with dietary constraints, as stated earlier. Overall Rating: 6/10"
