"As you can see from the picture, I received a grilled turkey sandwich. I ordered the Smokey Mountain Melt, which the menu described as, “grilled turkey, topped with bacon, grilled onions, melted cheddar and BBQ sauce on PANINI bread”. The flavor was good, especially the BBQ sauce. If they were out of panini bread, they should have said something. This was no panini sandwich. Also it was so greasy I had to use utensils to eat it. This restaurant is at the center of town so parking is going to be tough- you’re going to have to hike it unless it’s an off time. They have a lot of those irritating high tables and chairs that are a nightmare for those with small children or mobility issues. Nice decor otherwise."
"The service was excellent. They easily accommodated our party of 9. The very picky kids had no problem finding something to eat. Everyone enjoyed their food and drinks. I had the Ruben which was delicious. The live music on a Sunday afternoon was also really good for the atmosphere."
"TL/DR - Food was ok, and Ok price. Service and atmosphere were great! No dedicated parking, downtown/street parking. Stopped in Ellicottville, NY as part of a motorcycle ride. A neat little town and there were several restaurants from which to choose. We decided on The Gin Mill. There was live music playing, but it wasn't so loud that you had to shout to the people you were sitting with. The place is well decorated. Only real complaint - the chairs are a little hard. I ordered the personal pizza. It was ok, but was more like something I could get out of the freezer section of my local grocery store, but with a bit of added cheese and the toppings I selected. Food took a little extra to come out because the burned the pizza (how?? oh you forget about it...) BF had a Philly cheesesteak, which was better than my pizza. All in all I would go here again, I just wouldn't order the pizza."
"Love The Gin Mill! Cozy and fun atmosphere, clean bathrooms! While waiting for my meal I was delighted to find out there would be live music. The Ozone Rangers performed quite well and entertained my party and I throughout the rest of our meal. Our table shared sweet potato fries that were crispy and delicious, served with a sweet honey butter to dip in. I had a Chipotle Ranch Wrap but decided to start with a bowl of French Onion Soup. My soup was devine, as was the wrap that followed. This was a fantastic outing and I look forward to recreating the magic"
